True Church on Earth? Not so!

Matthew 13:24-30 Another parable He put forth to them, saying: “The kingdom of heaven is like a man who sowed good seed in his field, but while they slept, his enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat and went his way. When the grain sprouted and produced a crop, the tares also appeared. The servants came and said to him: ‘Sir, did you not sow good seed in your field? How then does it have tares?’ He said to them, ‘an enemy has done this.’ The servants said to him: ‘Do you want us to gather them up?’ But he said: ‘No, lest while you gather up the tares you uproot the wheat with them. Let both grow together until the harvest, and at the time of harvest I will say to the reapers, “First gather together the tares and bind them in bundles to burn them, but gather the wheat into my barn.

Many times, I hear church leaders say that their churches are the “TRUE CHURCH”, and I begin to wonder about what Jesus said to the disciples about the wheat and the tares growing together UNTIL the HARVEST. Well, we are still waiting for the harvest, which means they are both growing together are they not? To say there is a true church today on this earth will mean that Jesus was lying, or the leaders who claim they are the true church are lying. They cannot both be true therefore someone is not telling the truth, and I am certain it is not Jesus Christ. He said nothing about a true church, as wherever you go on this earth, there is wheat and tares growing together until the harvest. To claim that your church is the “TRUE CHURCH”,  all members are true in it, and as far as Jesus is concerned, it does not exist on this earth. Unless your church lives in heaven, it has tares growing in it, and this is not a true church. It is that simple! We on earth are all sinners, and come short of God’s glory. When we are acceptable to God, and belong to Him, we still live among tares as long as we live on this present earth, until Jesus returns to remove the tares and burn them, leaving only the wheat present. Then and only then, will we become  “THE TRUE CHURCH”.

Many talks about a pre-trib rapture, and the scripture said that the tares will be burnt FIRST, then the wheat will be gathered into the barn. The order of things are very clear here, but some claims the opposite to what Jesus said with His very mouth. Who will you believe? Man-made tradition or the word that was sent from God to us through His Son, The Christ? I believe none other than The anointed Son of God, as He is the only one God sent to teach us what to do, and His teaching is the FINAL AUTHORITY – above all else.

As we continue to apply Christ’s teaching to our daily lives, let us remember it is His word, we need, and it is only Him God sent to take away the sin of the world. His word came directly from God, and therefore it is God who gave Him this authority, not men. God continue to bless us as we study His word, and pay close attention to what Jesus says, and not be deceived by human’s tradition.
