I have Overcome, You Will

John 16:33 These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.

1 John 4:4 Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is He that is in you, than he that is in the world.

1 John 5:4 For whatsoever is born of God overcomes the world: and this is the victory that overcomes the world, even our faith.

1 John 5:5 Who is he that overcomes the world, but he that believeth that Jesus is the Son of God?

He Hears us all. He answered Hagar, Joseph and many others before us, He will answer you, fear not.

Genesis 21:17 And God heard the voice of the lad; and the angel of God called to Hagar out of heaven, and said unto her, What haileth thee, Hagar? fear not; for God hath heard the voice of the lad where he is.

Genesis 50:19 And Joseph said unto them, Fear not: for am I in the place of God?

Deuteronomy 20:3 Ye shall not fear them: for the LORD your God He shall fight for you.

Deuteronomy 31:6 Be strong and of a good courage, fear not, nor be afraid of them: for the LORD thy God, He it is that doth go with thee; He will not fail thee, nor forsake thee.

Who will be able to stand when hard times come to us? It will not be easy for long. Jesus said they overcame the saints (Revelation 13:7), so feed on the word so you will be nourished and fully equipped. When the people of old knew there were going to be a famine, they gather and stored grains and food, and they were fine, but not all prepared for the famine and they paid for it (Genesis 41:56). Now we are told of difficult days ahead, and like those of old let us prepare for it, as we will be caught unawares, and forfeiting our very lives. Be ready all, be ready.

Genesis 41:56 The famine was over all the face of the earth, and Joseph opened all the storehouses and sold to the Egyptians. And the famine became severe in the land of Egypt.

Revelation 13:7 And it was given unto him to make war with the saints, and to overcome them: and power was given him over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations.

Joshua 7:13 Up, sanctify the people, and say, Sanctify yourselves against tomorrow: for thus saith the LORD God of Israel, There is an accursed thing in the midst of thee, O Israel: thou canst not stand before thine enemies, until ye take away the accursed thing from among you.

Ephesians 6:11 Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.

Stand strong against the devil’s deceit, and don’t let him have dominion over you, as his power is nothing in comparison to the Master of the universe who gave His Spirit who is now dwelling in us. Cheer up, the battle is not ours! He is quite capable of fighting this with ease, so stand on your shaky legs, He will not fail you. We may have to go through the fire, but He is present in the time of trouble, don’t worry. He will give us power to stand strong. God be praised!

Psalm 40:2 He lifted me out of the slimy pit, out of the mud and mire; He set my feet on a rock and gave me a firm place to stand.

2 Chronicles 9:7 How happy your people must be! How happy your officials, who continually stand before you and hear your wisdom!

Well, who will be able to stand before our God?

Psalm 130:3 If you, LORD, kept a record of sins, Lord, who could stand?

Psalm 76:7 It is you alone who are to be feared. Who can stand before you when you are angry?

Psalm 78:13 He divided the sea and led them through; he made the water stand up like a wall.

Psalm 101:7 No one who practices deceit will dwell in my house; no one who speaks falsely will stand in my presence.

Psalm 119:120 My flesh trembles in fear of you; I stand in awe of your laws.

Finally be at peace with God, for this is what Jesus left with us , and He has sent the Spirit of Truth. He knows we have need of them both, so He gives us His peace, and sends the Spirit of Truth. Be at peace in yourself and each other, and comfort each other with these things.

John 14:27 Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.

John 16:12-13 I still have many things to say to you, but you cannot bear them now. 13 However, when He, the Spirit of truth, has come, He will guide you into all truth; for He will not speak on His own authority, but whatever He hears He will speak; and He will tell you things to come.

With the power of the Holy Spirit, WE WILL OVERCOME! Now, may The Lord bless you and keep you; The Lord make His face shine upon you, and be gracious to you; The Lord lift up His countenance upon you, and give you peace (Numbers 6:24-26). God bless you.
