Mine is in heaven, where moth and thieves cannot steal.

Earthly riches

James 5:1 Come now, you rich, weep and howl for your miseries that are coming upon you! – you still want to be rich on earth? Not me! I much rather mine with Jesus, that way I am certain it is safe, and I will have joy with it, not miseries.

Mark 10:24 -25 The disciples were astonished at His words. But Jesus answered again and said to them, “Children, how hard it is for those who trust in riches to enter the kingdom of God! 25 It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of God.”

1 Timothy 6:17 Command those who are rich in this present age not to be haughty, nor to trust in uncertain riches but in the living God, who gives us richly all things to enjoy.

Matthew 23:3 Therefore whatever they tell you to observe, that observe and do, but do not do according to their works; for they say, and do not do.

Psalm 49:6-9 Those who trust in their wealth and boast in the multitude of their riches, 7 none of them can by any means redeem his brother, nor give to God a ransom for him; 8 For the redemption of their souls is costly, and it shall cease forever; 9 That he should continue to live eternally, and not see the pit.

Matthew 19:23 Then Jesus said to His disciples, “Assuredly, I say to you that it is hard for a rich man to enter the kingdom of heaven.

Revelation 3:17-18 Because you say, ‘I am rich, have become wealthy, and have need of nothing’; and do not know that you are wretched, miserable, poor, blind, and naked; 18 I counsel you to buy from Me gold refined in the fire, that you may be rich; and white garments, that you may be clothed, that the shame of your nakedness may not be revealed; and anoint your eyes with eye salve, that you may see.

Matthew 6:2 Therefore, when you do a charitable deed, do not sound a trumpet before you as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets, that they may have glory from men. Assuredly, I say to you, they have their reward. (Matthew 6:4 also). Charitable deed should be done in secret, and rewarded openly by God, but they have it telivised to the whole world, to be seen by many. They have their reward.

Heavenly Riches

Saints, it may look like we are poor now, but we are RICH! Look with me for a while, as I tell you something really interesting our bank account in Heaven. We are so rich that the place we will be soon living have streets of gold (Revelation 21:21), and stones I cannot begin to discribe for you (read Revelation 21), as I know about it, but so poor here, never seen them before apart from in locked cabins, or in pictures, but there’s coming a time saints where we WILL walk on gold. Gold will be our streets, so the treasure they think so much about here right now, will be under out feet. That’s how rich we are. Our crown will be more costly, as it will be placed on our heads.

We will bring our glory to God’s city, so never mind we don’t have much now, our investment are stored in heaven, and there is an Honest Jesus Christ in charge of it there, so don’t worry about it going bust, on into liquidation. This will not happen, as He went to prepare it just for us, and He WILL return to bring it to us soon, so don’t let your heart be troubled not afraid (John 14:1-4). Theirs here on earth will not last, see it is already not safe in the earthly banks. I can boldly say to all God’s children we have a fat bank account in Heaven, and when Jesus comes back, we will receive it according to how much we store there. Well, He will give each according to their works He said (Matthew 16:27).

Revelation 14:13 Then I heard a voice from heaven saying to me, “Write: ‘Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord from now on.’” “Yes,” says the Spirit, “that they may rest from their labors, and their works follow them.”

Colossians 1:27 To them God willed to make known what are the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles: which is Christ in you, the hope of glory.

Revelation 2:9 “I know your works, tribulation, and poverty (but you are rich); and I know the blasphemy of those who say they are Jews and are not, but are a synagogue of Satan.

Matthew 16:27 For the Son of Man will come in the glory of His Father with His angels, and then He will reward each according to his works. What work? (James 2:18). Faith without work is dead, just like the Spirit without the body is dead. Here’s the work. To do the Father’s will, and keep His commandments (John 15:10). Love God, and one another (John 13:35 By this all will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another.”).

1 Corinthians 15:58 Therefore, my beloved brethren, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your labor is not in vain in the Lord.

Colossians 2:1-3 For I want you to know what a great conflict I have for you and those in Laodicea, and for as many as have not seen my face in the flesh, 2 that their hearts may be encouraged, being knit together in love, and attaining to all riches of the full assurance of understanding, to the knowledge of the mystery of God, both of the Father and of Christ, 3 in whom are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge.

You decide which one you choose, but you must pick one. I’ll have Heavenly Riches any day, what about you? The key to the treasure is Jesus Christ. You have Him, you need nothing else, for in Him are the hidden treasures. God bless you.
