Is “In The Air” God’s Dwelling Place?

Us in the air with Jesus

This we say to you by the word of the Lord, that we who are alive and remain until the coming of the Lord will by no means precede those who are asleep. For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel and with the trumpet of God. The dead in Christ will rise first, then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. Thus we shall always be with the Lord (1 Thessalonians 4:15-17). This tells me that the dead-in-Christ will be raised prior to meeting those who are alive when Jesus returns, and not gone to heaven beforehand. We will all (together) be caught up to meet the Lord in the air, or the clouds, not in God’s dwelling place, as we need to reign on earth with Christ a thousand years (Jeremiah 23:5, Revelation 20:4-6, Revelation 5:10). He taught us to pray that the kingdom come and rule on earth just as it in heaven. Heaven is coming to earth be ready for it (Matthew 6:9).

During The Thousand Years, Where Will Jesus Reign?

blue_marble_globe_west_wall

There will be no evil around us during the thousand years. All wickedness is held at bay and Satan is locked in the bottomless pit for a little while (Revelation 20: 1-3). Christ will rule and reign ON EARTH for a thousand years (Jeremiah 23:5, Luke 1:33, Revelation 20:4-6) before He gives the kingdom over to God to rule. We will then be taught by Him face to face during this time. Only after Christ’s reign will we become heirs with Him and the kingdom returns to God who gave it to Him. To become co-heirs with Christ, He needs to show us how to become heirs. We do not know who Christ is and how to become like Him yet, so how can we go to heaven and live with God, unless He teaches us how to do so? No one Knows the Father but Him and who He choose to reveal Him (Matthew 11:27). Now we see through a mirror, but later we will see direct. We learn from the apostles 2nd-hand from the bible, soon we will learn from Christ. His reign is vital to teach us how to become “Like Himself” (1 John 3:2). Unless this is done, we will not be entering that kingdom without Christ. He will at some point not be ashamed to introduce us to His Father and our Father if we  are not ashamed of Him here on earth (Luke 9:26).

God gave Christ the kingdom to rule it and after His rule, Christ gives it back to God in the state it should be in: “Pure, clean” holy and dressed in fine linen, a bride to the Lamb, being ONE with Him (Revelation 19:7-8, Revelation 3:18, Revelation 7:13-15). We need to ‘buy gold’ form Christ, the kind only He can supply; to get our garments white and so our nakedness may not be seen (Revelation 3:18). Thus for the thousand years, we will be taught and be counted worthy to live in the presence of a Holy God and be able to see His glory.  That’s the only way to approach God: through Christ and Him alone. Then will fulfilled this scripture: Therefore God also has highly exalted Him and given Him the name which is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven and of those on earth, those under the earth, that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father (Philippians 2:9-11). Indeed at that moment His enemies becomes His footstool, for even those under the earth declares that He is Lord.

Christ is the way, the truth and the life and He will make us one with Himself and one with God, as He is (John 10:16, John 14:6-7). Until then, we are not able to approach God or His dwelling place without Him. His thousand years reigning on the earth will finally prove to everyone that He is who He claimed to be and He is the only Son of God at this point. When we finally ‘see’, learn, accept His reign, Sonship and join Him as children of God together (1 Corinthians 13:12), we will be able to understand what God had in store for those who loves Him (1 Corinthians 2:9) because we have not seen it or understand it yet.

After The Thousand Years Who Will Reign?

new heavens new earth

Each one in his own order: Christ the first fruits, afterward those who are Christ’s at His coming. Then comes the end, when He delivers the kingdom to The Father, After He puts an end to all rule, authority and power (1 Corinthians 15:23-24). God will then take the kingdom from Christ’s rule, for He will no longer  be ‘the only Son’. We will then join Him, making God’s family one with many children and God the Father of all, including Christ who is the word of God, thus becoming subject to God’s rule (Revelation 1:11, Revelation 1:17, Revelation 2:8, Revelation 2:19, Revelation 22:13, Revelation 1:8). God will reign after the thousand years. Don’t be fooled, The Meek will inherit the earth (Psalm 37:11, Zephaniah 2:3, Matthew 5:5). The earth is the Lord’s, no one can take it from Him, or destroy it. God will destroy all who try to destroy the earth (Revelation 11:18). As the earth is His footstool and heaven His throne (Matthew 5:34-35, Acts 7:49), it will always be that way, till He decides to give authority and revealed His secrets to anyone He chooses (Amos 3:7).

Lucifer wanted to make God’s dwelling his own (Isaiah 14:13-14) he even tried taking over the earth and failed to do so. Now he is going about as Satan, teaching humans that they too can make heaven their homes any how. If they obey him, they too will join him in the lake of fire, so be careful listening to the same deception (Isaiah 14:12-15). There is peace coming on earth for all God’s people through Christ, in the air or on the breath of the earth (Revelation 20:9) Christ was given the kingdom to rule it for one thousand years, after all wickedness is taken away from it (Revelation 20:9). Satan will not be able to ruin it this time but after the thousand years is over and he is let loose for a little while and will deceive the nations (Revelation 20: 1-3). As soon as he is out of the bottomless pit, look at what he did? He went to deceive the nations of the earth (Revelation 20:7-10). This is not happening in heaven. He cannot leave from the bottomless pit and make his way to heaven in God’s presence! The bible says he did this on earth, as he has been cast out of heaven (Revelation 12:7-11, 2 Peter 2:4)! If people went to heaven, how is Satan able to surround them there? Will God allow Satan to go near His dwelling and deceive His people there? I think not; as He did not allow Him to attack His people in the air or the breath of the earth. Think it through and look closely to what the Spirit is saying to the churches.

Christ will not be reigning on the earth after Satan comes out of his prison, He will be in the air with the saints. God The Father will be the one in Heaven and reigning from there. As he approaches with his army, they see the camp of God’s people on the breath of the earth and surrounds it, but fire will come down from God and devour them (Revelation 20:8-9). Notice where the fire comes from: Heaven to earth, establishing that the saints are on earth and the holy city can be seen by the surrounding enemies! By this time, God is in control over His kingdom. Jesus’ reign was for one thousand years and it has come to an end (1 Corinthians 15:23-24). The kingdom is now God’s when Satan approaches it, which is why the fire came from Him when Satan surrounds His people. When he thinks of attacking them, its God who punishes him this time, while Christ takes the back sit, as He has given to God worthy “heirs” for His Father to rule, subjecting everyone and everything (including Christ) to Himself (1 Corinthians 15:28). Glory be to God!

The Last Enemy Destroyed

death

Then comes the end, when He delivers the kingdom to God the Father, when He puts an end to all rule, all authority and power. For He must reign till He has put all enemies under His feet. The last enemy that will be destroyed is death and it is swallowed up in victory (1 Corinthians 15:25-26). After the last enemy (death) is destroyed we will see the Holy city coming down from Heaven as a bride fit for the children of God to dwell in it forever, with no evil in sight.  Only the children of God will see it and make it their home and God Himself will dwell with them in there (Revelation 21:1-5).

The mysteries of the Kingdom are given to you, have you got it? Or are you still finding it hard to understand? Jesus made it really clear to His disciples what the kingdom of God is. He said it is in your heart and on your mouth, therefore if you are God’s child, you are walking around with the kingdom of God inside you and He dwells within you just as He did with Christ. He is one with you in spirit, through His son, making us one united. Jesus prayed that we become one with God as He is one with Him while He was on earth. When Leaving earth He promised the apostles that He is going to prepare a place for them and will return so they can be with Him where He is (John 14:1-6). Well the holy city is what we see coming down from heaven after death is no more, so let’s look at it closely.

The Holy City Coming To A New Earth

New Jerusalem

Now I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away. Also there was no more sea.  Then I, John,  saw the holy city, New Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.  I heard a loud voice from heaven saying, “Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men and He will dwell with them and they shall be His people. God Himself will be with them and be their God. God will wipe away every tear from their eyes; there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying. There shall be no more pain, for the former things have passed away. Then He who sat on the throne said, “Behold, I make all things new”.  He said to me, “Write, for these words are true and faithful” (Revelation 21:1-5). God’s presence will be with us in the Holy City and He will dwell with us there and His throne will also be there.  All Heaven and earth will be there, righteous will dwell in there, thus making it all new.

The Holy City will be coming from Heaven to earth (the new earth), not the other way round. Heaven is God’s thrown and it will always be that way. No one in heaven or earth will take it from Him, or approach it without His permition. Satan tried to take it by force and look what’s waiting for him! The lake or fire (Revelation 20:10). Don’t make the same mistake. Humble yourself and God will lift you up. Then the seventh angel poured out his bowl into the air and a loud voice came out of the temple of heaven, from the throne, saying, It is done (Revelation 16:17)! Death is swallowed up (Isaiah 25:8, 1 Corinthians 15:54) no more wickedness and we can all live in that Holy City in peace, with God and His Christ forever! Now God has revealed this to you, go see if these things are so for He said:  “To you it has been given to know the mysteries of the kingdom of God but to the rest it is given in parables, that seeing they may not see and hearing they may not understand” (Luke 8:10). We have studied the ‘air’ or the breath of the earth, the camp of the saints where Satan surrounded is not in God’s dwelling place, now let’s look at God’s dwelling place and study it.

God’s Dwelling Place

What sort of place does Gothrone of godd dwell in? Certainly not in temples made by humans (Acts 17:24) as He is the creator of heaven and earth, He will not live with humans; not sinful ones anyway (2 Chronicles 6:18). Who will build a temple for God to dwell in since He humbles himself to look at things in heaven and on earth (psalm 113:4-6)?

Jesus told us no one has seen the Father except the Son (John 1:18) and to whom the Son chooses to reveal Him. The prophets of old declares that no one can see God and live. Even the angels of heaven have to cover themselves (Isaiah 6:1-2) in His presence. We know that flesh and blood cannot inherit God’s kingdom neither can sin enter it (1 Corinthians 15:50). I would like to know how can one die and go there before the dead in Christ raised, at the coming of Christ and the last tramp, a place with unapproachable lights which no human has seen or can see. (1 Corinthians 15:51-52, 1 Timothy 6:16).

On several occasions when God appeared to His people they were “as dead” like John when He was shown the Revelation of Jesus Christ (Revelation 1:17). In the presence or God’s angels they needed to touch the human beings and raised them back to life. Only Jesus was not astonished by the presence of God, as He was familiar with Him in the beginning (John 1:1-5). Everyone else needed to be touched to consciousness  again. The Spirit goes back to God who gave it, and absent of the body present with God. Does this makes any sense? Yes it does as we will understand it now. The dead in Christ are dead and not forgotten by God; God remembers them as if they were not dead, like Abel when his blood cried to Him even after He was dead (Hebrews 12:22-24, Genesis 4:8-11).

God said He is not the God of the dead, but the living, for to Him they live even though they are dead (Matthew 22:32, Mark 12:27, Luke 20:38). Abraham was mention also by God stating He “is” the God of Abraham Isaac and Jacob, when all three of them were in their graves (Acts 7:32). You see,  just because they are dead to us, does not mean they are to God, as He always remember their good deeds. The throne where God dwells will always be where He put it and one day we will be able to see it. Soon the  doors will never be shut to us and behold He will make everything new in heaven and on earth. We will see Him face to face at the appointed time on His terms, His presence and tabernacle will be with us forever. Well, since Christ is coming soon, what manner of people ought we to be (2 Peter 3:10-13)? May God grant us wisdom to understand what He has in store for His people. God bless you.
