How Is your Personal Relationship with God?

That which was from the beginning which we have heard, seen, looked upon and our hands have handled concerning the Word of life; the life was manifested and we have seen, bear witness, and declare to you that eternal life which was with the Father and was manifested to us  that which we have seen and heard we declare to you, that you also may have fellowship with us; and truly our fellowship is with the Father and with His Son Jesus Christ.  These things we write to you that your joy may be full. (1 John 1-4)

Word becomes flesh

Is your joy complete in Jesus? What have you done with what you have heard seen and understand from the word of God? Have you obeyed it? Have you shared it with anyone? Are you ashamed of the things of the Lord because of the pressures around you? Don’t be ashamed because you have the word of eternal life (John 6:68) and there is nothing wrong with you keeping faithful to the Lord. One day soon all what you are learning will come to full understanding because though we don not fully understand all the things of heaven, God will bring us to full understanding when Jesus comes back to rule over us. He will teach us all the fullness of God and we will be like Him (1 JOHN 3:2), and then He will give us over to the Father (1 Corinthians 15:24) as sons of God just like Himself (Romans 8:16-17). Jesus has seen the Father and we have not seen Him (John 6:46). We know Him through a mirror, which is Christ, but soon as we see Him through the Son, we will one day see Him face to face(1 Corinthians 13:12). We are blessed by faith, for we trust Hm even if we have not known or seen Him. That is a promised blessing to all those who remain faithful to Him until the end. We need to keep faithful and don’t let the pressure of this earth and its sinful desires to overpower us of where we are going and who we represent here on earth. Do the work of God and keep faithful in season and out of season (2 Timothy 4:2). He will strengthen us like He did Job in the years of old (Job 2), and how He never forsaken His Son Christ even when they murdered Him on the cross (John 8:16). Death may come to some and some will continue to live, but be faithful to the end, we will all be better off. Look to the finishing line till you get to it, don’t look at the hard training you endure. Have your eyes fixed on Jesus, He will guide you home. God is faithful. He will deliver us from the heavy burden and give us a yoke that is easy and light (Matthew 11:29-30). You are a child of God, make sure your relationship with Him is great, no mater who comes before your face.

David & GoliathDavid conquered his giant with the help of God, Job, Jesus Christ, and many before us did, God is still helping His people overcome the evil around them, so keep going forward you will win the race every time. Run the race to win (1 Corinthians 9:24) because you have power inside not even you are able to understand because it is the power of God (John:29). They will look at you and wonder how on earth could you go through this and stand, but you know who your Father is, and He is the most powerful one in the whole universe in heaven and on earth. After knowing all this you are still worried? I should think not! Now go and show everyone that you have already won the victory. Glory be to God in the highest, and may He give peace to all His people on earth. Glory! Never underestimate the power that God will demonstrate where His people is concerned. We are loved by God, so Your relationship with Him is very important to Him. Strengthen this relationship with Him by spending time to get to know Him and keep your eyes on Jesus as He will show you the Father. God bless us all.
