Since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight and the sin which so easily ensnare us. Let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. Hebrews 12:1-4 Jesus made it very clear that those who endure to the end will be saved, not to those who gave up half way.
Keep going forward in your walk with God, depend on Him to give you the power to go through the stages of your development. Whatever He allows you to go through, He has equipped you to drive through them successfully. Go with the faith He provides and rise above it saying: not my will, but trusting His will to be done. The journey will be difficult and you will suffer from the hands of evil, but God have His hand on you and your future , you will overcome the evils around you, just like Job of old. He gave us many warnings about the road we would be travelling, and said that it would not be easy, so stand on your shaky legs, and keep going till you reach the finishing line. This race we all have to master, and at the end of it, a crown is waiting to all who finishes it. In this race, all get the prize, so run to win. You will be better off at the end of the race.
Jesus did not give up on us at Gethsemane, therefore don’t give up living for Him. He gave up His will, for us to live, now grab hold of that life and live it to the full. Do not let the devil overcome you, let the Spirit of God lead you into all truth. You are a child of God, as you live your life here on earth, you must determine to make His heart rejoice by the way you live. Run your race faithfully and at the end you will get the prize. It’s no use running for nothing, so think carefully when training and give it your all to receive that crown of life Jesus promised us when He returns. He’s now sitting on His throne, make haste to join Him when He come to take us home. He did not leave you powerless, He sent you the only one you need and this is our teacher, therefore hear what He has to say and obey Him. He is the Spirit of truth. He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches. To the one who conquers I will give some of the hidden manna and I will give him a white stone, with a new name written on the stone that no one knows except the one who receives it. (Revelation 2:17). For this reason, keep faithful.
