Above all these put on love, which binds everything together in perfect harmony. Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, to which indeed you were called in one body and be thankful. Colossians 3:14-15
Jesus went about all His short life on earth teaching us how to love, by demonstrating it in the way He lived and died. If love is so important to Him and His Father, why do we find it so difficult to love each other? God is love, naturally love should be the most important thing we should strive to out-do each other in, not hate. We are all fighting with the very ones God sent His Son to die for! Goodness children of God what are we doing? Don’t we know that the people we are fighting against is not the enemy? God wants us to love each other but we spend more time hating each other than loving them. If He asks us to love our own enemies, do you think He is pleased when we hate our family? No He is not happy with it! Now come on, let us love God’s children the way He loves us by changing our attitude. God is love.
