Love At All Cost

Jesus_137No one has ascended into heaven except He who descended from heaven, the Son of Man. As Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, so must the Son of Man be lifted up, that whoever believes in Him may have eternal life. For God so loved the world, that He gave His only Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through Him. (John 3:13-17)

We see here love at it’s best when we examine this passage of scripture in context. God did not have to send His only Son to save people who rebelled against Him, yet He did. A God so majestic has demonstrated His love to us all. Who among us is able to stand before Him and say: “I have not sinned”? NO ONE!

Too many times we blame God for all the works of the devil, yet we fail to see that the very reason His Son was sent, was to save us who is still tormented by the devil. He will not have his way with us forever, one day very soon, we will inherit that salvation Christ died for till eternity and the devil will receive his just reward. God has done His part to give us a life-line through His Son; are we ready to take it? His love is not in question here! It is our faith in Him that is in question. Do we believe that in His Son we have life? Then do something about it! Be saved, believe in God’s Son and take that life freely; its as simple as that! Choose life, that you and your descendants may live. God bless you as you do so and continue to be faithful to the end.
