No temptation has overtaken you that is not common to man. God is faithful, He will not let you be tempted beyond your ability, but with the temptation He will also provide the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it (1 Corinthians 10:13). He promised to be with you to offer a way out through the temptation, but He is not the one that tempts you. The devil will try to steal, kill or destroy you because you belong to God, but God has made preparation for you to escape all the tricks of the devil. You will suffer through them, but they will not overcome you. You are being refined like gold through fire, but at the end of it all, you will not be broken, but pure.
Everyone who is a child of God, WILL suffer persecution (2 Timothy 3:12-13). There’s no preventing it, but God is with you through it all, equipping you for whatever you have to endure. This is the difference, He never leave or forsake you. Jesus felt the emptiness as He called to God asking why had He forsaken Him (Matthew 27:46). He was not forsaken; God was with Him every step of the way, but in His flesh, He felt weak, yet His Father saw it all. He submitted to God’s will, not His (Matthew 26:39). God sent Him to die and God was with Him and was involved even after He died. It was God’s Spirit that raised Him from the dead, none other; the same Spirit that He was filled with, when led into the wilderness to be tempted by the devil. Although our sins draws us away from God, He has already made provision for us to endure until the end. God’s will, was being done, even when Jesus felt forsaken by Him. He did not turn back from His Father’s will, even when He prayed for God to let it pass. He knew where to reach His Father. If God had forsaken Him, He couldn’t call to Him in His time of need. Therefore be assured that with the same love He has for His Son, He is (through Him) giving it to you also. He is there when you feel that you are all alone; you need to just call on Him for help in your time of need.
Learn your lesson form Jesus’ example, because now, His position in Heaven is higher than anyone else: seated at the right Hand of His Father (Hebrews 12:2). None other has that position, or title (Philippians 2:9-11). You too one day soon, after you have endured to the end, will share in that kingdom because eyes have not seen, or ears heard what God has in store for those who love Him (1 Corinthians 2:9). He is with you no matter where you go, as long as you are His child, and your name is written His Lambs book of Life, He is with you always, even to the end of the age (Matthew 28:19-20 ). Remember that: because of His Son, God will never forsaken you, He is with you always.
