You have still a few names in Sardis, people who have not soiled their garments and they will walk with Me in white, for they are worthy (Revelation 3:4). Are you one of the few who have not soiled your garments like those in Sardis? Be careful what you do with the blood that God send to cleanse you. Where you go, will it keep your clothes clean? What you say, will that keep your tongue pure? What you wear, will it reflect your creator (modesty)? The people you associate with, will they see Jesus in you? The world, are you in it or of it? You need to be able to differentiate between your lifestyle and that of the world’s. Do not conform to it, you have to be different to it to keep your garments clean! You cannot be a friend of the world and a friend of God also (James 4:4).
A friend of the world will definitely spoil your garment, don’t go there, you will become an enemy of God! Bad move, so make a U-turn! The Spirit of God lives in the child of God, and to be able to see His fruits in your life, He has to be the one in control of it, not you, or another. Jesus lives in His “co-heirs”, and if He cannot be seen in you, then you need to take a different direction with your life; return to Him and be clean. You are to distinguish between the holy and the common, and between the unclean and the clean (Leviticus 10:10). When God draws His children to Himself and His Son, He cleanses them first (baptism- Acts 2:38), He then trains them through the Holy Spirit (Acts 1:5), to become heirs with His Son and to live in a heavenly kingdom. You cannot enter this kingdom with dirty clothes, you need pure white clothing that only Jesus can provide to wear in His kingdom.
After you have been washed by the Son of God, you need to keep this garment clean, otherwise you will be naked and this nakedness will be exposed for all to see (Revelation 3:18). How shameful will it be when this is done, so I encourage you to wear this pure garment with joy, because no matter what happens, if you don’t soil it, you will be entering God’s kingdom without any problems. Do not let anyone or anything cause you to soil it, because this is a very expensive garment, it was given to you in good faith and paid with the priceless blood of the Lamb of God. If for any reason you have soiled it, then I suggest you confess because: “If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness” (1 John 1:9). When you wear this garment, remember that if you keep soiling it, you will not see God’s kingdom, or enter it. Don’t soil your garment, keep it pure and white, wear it with pride, if you do so to the end, you will be co-heirs with Christ and a child of God forever. God bless you.
