An Eternal Sin

Truly, I say to you, all sins will be forgiven the children of man and whatever blasphemies they utter, but whoever blasphemies against the Holy Spirit never has forgiveness, but is guilty of an eternal sin; for they were saying: He has an unclean spirit (Mark 3:28-30). God gave us permission to test every spirit (1 John 4:1) because in testing them you will be certain if it is the Spirit or false prophets. There is a very good reason for this, because if you blaspheme against the Holy Spirit, there is no forgiveness for that sin. JESUS & HOLY SPIRIT- We have BothHow will you know that you have sinned against Him if you don’t know who He is? Well, you need to know who you are addressing before you open your mouth, because we do not have a clean tongue.

The tongue we are not able to tame (James 3:7-8), but as for the spirits, we have authority to test them, because if you utter a wrong word against God’s Spirit, you are in grave danger! This is not to be taken lightly, because the Spirit is the one who sealed God’s children, He is their teacher, helper, leader of all truth, and the one to raise them from death to life. To blaspheme against Him, is to call Him a liar, and you will have put yourself in a situation where you can never live, because He is the Spirit who raised Jesus from death. If you sin against Him, there is no resurrection for you! Well, think about that for a moment and remember this scripture while you do so: “If the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He who raised Christ Jesus from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit who dwells in you (Romans 8:11)”. Now you see it and know it, watch out for false prophets and be nice to God’s Holy Spirit. God bless you.
