Our Labour Is Not In Vain

working rice fieldsMy beloved brothers, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that in the Lord your labor is not in vain (1 Corinthians 15:58). The work you are doing today, after you have finished doing so what will be your reward? Have you been working in vain? Do you strive all day, for many years and have nothing to hope for when it is all done? When you work for God, you never work in vain. He has a great reward for every labourer no matter what position they have. Every worker in God’s kingdom has a reward, and when He returns He will be coming with a reward to give everyone according to their work. Work in such a way so you will receive the reward. If your work is not up to scratch now, you have time to sort it out. Do not work with selfish motive, or ungodly intentions, because the reward for these things will not be a good one. Work hard, Honestly, respectfully, and consistently, at the end, you will be happy that your work is approved by God. He will give you a reward that is suitable for the work you have done, because while you did the work you were given, you were working for God. God bless you.
