All the days of the afflicted are evil, but the cheerful of heart has a continual feast (Proverbs 15:15 ). We know who we are in Christ, and if we focus on Him a little more often, we will have every reason to sing praises, give thanks, and continue to be cheerful. We only get sad and gloomy, when this is not done, and we focus on the problems around us. It overwhelms us, and we loose focus on what is important. We then sink in it, and our desires are different from when we kept thinking on heavenly things. Get back your joy in the Lord, because in His joy you get your strength. You become stronger in faith when your joy in the Lord is intact, so find a song, get a word and rejoice in the Lord always to get your joy back. Do not let anyone spoil your joy in the Lord. Let your hearts be always cheerful, wait on the Lord, then you will renew your strength and be able to fly like eagles. You will run and not be weary; you shall walk and not faint (Isaiah 40:31). Trust God, He knows what He’s doing; so get up, find a song, prepare your praise and offer it to God often. God bless you.
