Christ Is The End Of The Law

it is finishedChrist is the end of the law for righteousness to everyone who believes (Romans 10:4). This scripture cannot be made any simpler than this. A covenant finished (the one given to Moses), and a new covenant begins in the Son of God (the Christ). Christ has removed the veil we looked through when we read the laws of Moses, so we can see clearly the laws of the new covenant. Love is the law of the new covenant, and to keep it, we need the faith of Abraham so we can use it to believe in the Son of God. The salvation of mankind was finished when the Son of God was lifted up, and eternal life was given when He rose from the dead 3 days later. Therefore it is indeed finished, and we have this hope that He who redeemed us from sin and death, will return as promised to take us home.

Jesus Christ has made my life easier and enjoyable. It’s my duty to do God’s will since I’m already free.

All the law point to Christ the Saviour as man could not fulfill it hence need for intervention that could only be brought by Him. Hence ….i did not come to abolish the law but to fulfill it.

But before the time for faith came, the law kept us all locked up as prisoners unitil this coming faith should be revealed . And so the law was in charge of us unitil Christ came ,in order that we might with God through faith .
Now that the time for faith is here, the law is no longer in charge of us …… Gal: 3 : 23-25
