Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to everyone who believes (Romans 10:4). This scripture cannot be made any simpler than this. A covenant finished (the one given to Moses), and a new covenant begins in the Son of God (the Christ). Christ has removed the veil we looked through when we read the laws of Moses, so we can see clearly the laws of the new covenant. Love is the law of the new covenant, and to keep it, we need the faith of Abraham so we can use it to believe in the Son of God. The salvation of mankind was finished when the Son of God was lifted up, and eternal life was given when He rose from the dead 3 days later. Therefore it is indeed finished, and we have this hope that He who redeemed us from sin and death, will return as promised to take us home.
