If anyone is to be taken captive, to captivity he goes; if anyone is to be slain with the sword, with the sword must he be slain. Here is a call for the endurance and faith of the saints (Revelation 13:10).
For you have need of endurance, so that when you have done the will of God, you may receive what is promised (Hebrews 10:36).
Since we have been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ. Through Him we have also obtained access by faith into this grace in which we stand, and we rejoice in hope of the glory of God. Not only that, but we rejoice in our sufferings, knowing that suffering produces endurance, endurance produces character, character produces hope, and hope does not put us to shame, because God’s love has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit, who has been given to us (Romans 5:1-5)
Whatever was written in former days was written for our instruction, that through endurance and through the encouragement of the Scriptures, we might have hope (Romans 15:4).
May the God of endurance and encouragement grant you to live in such harmony with one another, in accord with Christ Jesus. (Romans 15:5)
Behold, now is the favorable time; behold, now is the day of salvation. We put no obstacle in anyone’s way, so that no fault may be found with our ministry, but as servants of God, we commend ourselves in every way: by great endurance, in afflictions, hardships, calamities, beatings, imprisonments, riots, labors, sleepless nights, hunger; by purity, knowledge, patience, kindness, the Holy Spirit, genuine love; by truthful speech, and the power of God; with the weapons of righteousness for the right hand and for the left; through honor and dishonor, through slander and praise. We are treated as impostors, and yet are true; as unknown, and yet well known; as dying, and behold, we live; as punished, and yet not killed; as sorrowful, yet always rejoicing; as poor, yet making many rich; as having nothing, yet possessing everything (2 Corinthians 6:4).
May you be strengthened with all power, according to His glorious might, for all endurance and patience with joy (Colossians 1:11).
Since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us also lay aside every weight, and sin which clings so closely, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us (Hebrews 12:1).
I, John, your brother and partner in the tribulation and the kingdom and the patient endurance that are in Jesus, was on the island called Patmos on account of the word of God and the testimony of Jesus (Revelation 1:90).
I know your works, your toil and your patient endurance, and how you cannot bear with those who are evil, but have tested those who call themselves apostles and are not, and found them to be false (Revelation 2:2)
Because you have kept My word about patient endurance, I will keep you from the hour of trial that is coming on the whole world, to try those who dwell on the earth (Revelation 3:10).
Here is a call for the endurance of the saints, those who keep the commandments of God and their faith in Jesus (Revelation 14:12).
In all you ways, acknowledge God, and He will direct your way. Let His love be showered over you and your family, and may He bless you and keep you; make His face to shine upon you and be gracious to you; the Lord lift up His countenance upon you and give you peace. Amen.
I feel it is right to share these scriptures today, for those who find it difficult during their time of endurance. May these give you hope as they did for me, and may it encourage you as children of God, to continue putting your trust in Him, rejoice in hope, it will be over soon. God will not let you go through more than you can bear. He is in the fire with you, the storm will not overpower you, and although you don’t seem to understand why it is happening, hold on and persevere, you will gain a great reward when Jesus returns. God bless you.
