The fool says in his heart: “There is no God.” They are corrupt, doing abominable iniquity; there is none who does good. God looks down from heaven on the children of man to see if there are any who understand, who seek after God. They have all fallen away; together they have become corrupt; there is none who does good, not even one. Have those who work evil no knowledge, who eat up My people as they eat bread, and do not call upon God? There they are, in great terror, where there is no terror! For God scatters the bones of him who encamps against you; you put them to shame, for God has rejected them. Oh, that salvation for Israel would come out of Zion! When God restores the fortunes of His people, let Jacob rejoice, let Israel be glad. (Psalm 53:1-6). God sees the terrors we see, and knows the plans they have in their hearts to destroy others, and He is not happy with it. As He did before, He will strike again at those who think in their hearts that there is no God, and go about torturing people as if there is no one to stop them. If they continue in their wickedness and do not repent, God will reward them (Isaiah 55:7).
God looks down on them and they are judged by Him. We are His children, and we will be the ones rejoicing when they are removed from among us (Proverbs 10:30). We will be able to continue in peace, with no wolves around to trouble us, and they will be thrown away for destruction, when the time comes. God is not blind, He sees it all, but His ways are not our ways, neither His thoughts our thoughts (Isaiah 55:7-9), so we need to bear with them a little longer, before we see the full power of God’s wrath comes into action (Nahum 1:2, Romans 1:18, Romans 13:5, Revelation 16:1). One day soon, He will exercise His fury, and woe to the one who is in the receiving end of it! May God continue to protect His people, and that we may wait patiently for His Son who will deliver us from the wrath to come (1 Thessalonians 1:9-10). God bless you.
