When John heard in prison about the deeds of the Christ, he sent word by his disciples and said to Him, “Are You the one who is to come, or shall we look for another?” And Jesus answered them, “Go and tell John what you hear and see: the blind receive their sight, the lame walk, lepers are cleansed, the deaf hear, the dead are raised up, and the poor have good news preached to them. And blessed is the one who is not offended by Me (Matthew 11:1-6).
After you have heard what He did, experienced who He is, and understand what He has in store for you; will you be offended by Him? Are you ashamed of telling others about Him? If you are ashamed of Him, He will be ashamed of you before His Father and the angels in heaven. Let His ways be your ways, and His teaching penetrate your very soul, so you can receive a great reward when He returns. Live your life in such a way, that when He returns, He will find you worthy to be co-heirs with Him in glory. Don’t be offended by Him, but be transformed, by renewing your mind to receive all the blessings He has in store for you. God bless you.
