Jesus said: “I have not come to call the righteous but sinners to repentance” (Luke 5:32). The times of ignorance God overlooked, but now He commands all people everywhere to repent, because He has fixed a day on which He will judge the world in righteousness by a man whom He has appointed; and of this He has given assurance to all by raising Him from the dead (Acts 17:30-31).
Today God is talking to us through His Spirit, and He is telling us to repent from our sins and turn to God for forgiveness. If we listen carefully to the Spirit of God, we can hear Him talking to us “the Churches” in the book of Revelation 1, 2, 3. He knows our works and that we are enduring but He has “something against us”. Search your heart to see what sin He sees in you, and confess it before it is too late. He is giving us time to repent church, so we may continue in holiness. He correct the ones He loves, so when He point out where you have gone wrong, humble yourself, repent of the wrongdoing, and the blessing of God will continue to be with you.
If you do not repent after knowing that you have erred, You will suffer punishment, but if you repent of your sins and endure to the end: Jesus Christ will: 1, let you eat of the tree of life, which is in the paradise of God. 2, give you the crown of life (Revelation 2:7). 3, give you some of the hidden manna, and He will give you a white stone, with a new name written on the stone that no one knows except the one who receives it (Revelation 2:10). 4, He will give you the morning star (Revelation 2:28). 5, you will be clothed thus in white garments, and He will never blot your name out of the book of life. He will confess your name before His Father and before His angels (Revelation 3:5). 6, He will make you a pillar in the temple of His God. Never shall you go out of it, and He will write on you the name of His God, and the name of the city of His God, the new Jerusalem, which comes down from His God out of heaven, and His own new name (Revelation 3: 12). 7, He will grant you to sit with Him on His throne, as He also conquered and sat down with His Father on His throne (Revelation 3:21). And guess what else? (8) You will not be hurt by the second death (Revelation 2:11). Glory be to God indeed!
That is why He is asking you to repent, so today, if you will hear His voice, do not harden your heart as they did long ago. God has given us His Spirit of truth, and we need to hear what the Spirit says to the churches. Now you know what He is saying to you, go and repent for the forgiveness of your sins and you will receive all these promises we just mentioned in the book of Revelation. Read Revelation chapters 1, 2, and 3 if full, so you can get the full context of the scriptures. God bless you, as you continue to conquer.
