Matthew 1:21 She will bring forth a Son, and you shall call His name JESUS, for He will save His people from their sins.” Galatians 2:20 I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me. Romans 8:13 For if you live according to the flesh you will die; but if by the Spirit you put to death the deeds of the body, you will live.
Jesus did not die so we can spend the rest of our lives dying for Him. He died so we can LIVE free, happy, peacefully, and most of all HOLY lives. Let us take hold of the gift of life He gave us, and live it to the full, glorifying God all day long, every day for such a gift, saving us from death. Many of us just sit there feeling sorry for ourselves, worrying about what God has provided for us, and there is life to live? I am going to enjoy mine until He returns to take me home.
I hope you will all join me to celebrate on a daily basis this precious gift that no money can buy. Stop wondering were the next meal is coming from, go and get it, as God will supply ALL our needs, and He cannot work in doubt. The righteous will not beg for bread, as God supplies the need, so why worry about the things you have already?
Someone asked me this question one day: “Shirl, if you ask me for a meal and a few minutes later I give you a delicious meal and told you anytime you need another one come to me and get it, will you keep asking me for that same meal each time I give it to you”? I said no. So he asked me another question. This time he asked: “what would you say after you received the assurance that each time you come to me, there will be a meal waiting for you”? I answered; I will show my appreciation by being thankful, and enjoy the meal you took your time to prepare for me, and don’t waste any of if. “Well said”, he said, “go and do the same toward God, as He has assured us that HE WILL SUPPLY ALL OUR NEEDS, not some”.
You are in need and reading this? Fear not For the Lord God hears you, He is with you. HE WILL supply ALL your NEEDS. I know this. He did it for me, He WILL do the same for you. You just have to trust Him, and keep faithful to Him.
I heard that Jesus is coming soon, and that when He returns the things we now see around us will all pass away. Thank God! No MONEY? Nope! We will not be in debt any more. Everything will be free, and no one will be rioting, or looting. God be praised! Nice one! Well, knowing about this, I am not saving my treasure on this planet. I have mine waiting for me in heaven, where no one can touch, so folks let us be faithful in the little things down here, so we can be trusted in much above. There comes a time in one’s life when we have to begin to receive the joy of the LORD, and consider ourselves too blessed to be stressed. I am satisfied when I have little, and when I have much.
These days, I keep my eyes on the price of my high calling, minding my business, and keeping myself away from anything and anyone that distract my connection with God and His way of living. The friends I use to have, I have them no more. The things I use to do and say, I do and say them no more, and the places I use to go, I go to them no more. Now, I am heading home rejoicing all the way to gory, where my Father leads me.
What a Mighty God we serve! We cannot serve Him dead, so while we have life in us, let us pause and appreciate the All Mighty Father we have, who is like no other. There is NO one like HIM, and we know it, so let us live as we should, for we are children to an awesome God. If this does not make someone rejoice, well I do not think anything else will. Therefore, the end of that person is destruction, for only the people of God can understand the mind of God, for His Spirit reigns supreme in our lives.
We belong to God folks, and we are bought with a price. It is very costly, so guard it well, and we who think we stand should take heed lest we fall. There is coming a time, and it is now, when those who worship the Father will worship Him in spirit and in truth, and He is looking for such to worship Him today. Stand your ground, as the Spirit who is driving us, is not a spirit of fear, that we, God’s children should be afraid, as if something strange is happening to us. We have known these things some of us from childhood, and yet we still do not understand.
Well, here is it in its simplest form: Live for Jesus, if you want to make Him happy, for His death was to pay for our death to bring us to life, and even if they kill us because we are living right, so be it; we still live, for in God all is made alive. Stop the dying for Christ, as He has paid the price so we may live. Live! Do a good job living for Him, so He can give you a reward for so doing. Let us begin to live the life God gave us through Christ, while we journey happily, peacefully, faithfully and HOLY together as one, united in faith and love.
