Are You Taught By “The Helper”

Dove_SpiritThe “Helper”, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, will teach you all things and bring to your remembrance all I said to you (John 14:26). Today we need to test every spirit (1 John 4:1) to see if who we depending on is the Spirit of God. There are many false prophets running around teaching false doctrine, and if you do not use the authority to test them, how are you to know if they are from God or not? God gave us this authority to test every one of them, so be mindful that Only the Spirit of God knows accurately the things of God (1 Corinthians 2:9-14). Test your teachers, and if what they say or do, does not line up with the word of God, find one who does (Titus 1:5-9, 2 Thessalonians 3:6-9). The only one teacher we have is Jesus Christ (Matthew 23:5-11). After He went to heaven, to continue His teaching, we were promised God’s Holy Spirit (John 15:25-27, ) to bear witness about Him, and lead us into ALL TRUTH (Ephesians 1:13, John 16:13) . If the spirit is not of God, it teaches error (1 John 4:6), and are not to be trusted. This is why it is so important that you study the word of God, with the leadership of the Holy Spirit, so you can differentiate between them.

The Spirit of God teaches the word of God; if you do not know what the word of God teaches, how are you able to know if what someone say, is in line with the word of God? Beware, that as you exercise your authority to test them, you know what you are testing against. Study the word of God, apply it in your daily life, and when anyone comes to you with true or false doctrine, you will be equipped to detect whether they are truth or error. God be with you, as you continue to be taught by His Holy Spirit.
